For this reason, we are looking for a Middle Office Team Leader with at least 3 to 5 years of experience performing similar duties to join our Middle Office Team in Madrid. Thus, we encourage you to apply and become part of this great team.💪💪
💻What will you do on a day-to-day basis?💻
Lead and coordinate the team responsible for managing and updating assigned portfolios (NPL, PLs, REOs), ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency, and accuracy (CF allocation, balances, loan and asset information, etc.).
Oversee Cash Management and Account Provisioning processes, including bank account balance control, collections upload, and upstream reporting.
Ensure proper execution, control, and continuous improvement of operational processes and data quality monitoring.
Supervise daily operational activities to guarantee portfolio data is consistently updated and reliable.
Coordinate and support onboarding processes (data inconsistency analysis, data cleaning, and mapping).
Act as the main point of contact for business teams and investors, ensuring high-quality responses and service.
Oversee the generation of debt certificates and other key deliverables.
Identify, propose, and implement improvements in cross-functional workflows to increase efficiency across teams.
Develop, implement, and monitor controls to mitigate operational and data risks.
Ensure systems are properly updated through massive data uploads and documentation management.
Supervise the preparation and delivery of monitoring and reporting outputs (internal and external).
Manage system users and ensure proper governance and access control.
Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, efficiency, and automation within the team.
Actively contribute to creating a positive team environment, promoting engagement, motivation, and a strong team spirit.
🔎 What knowledge and skills will you need to have to succeed in the position?🔍
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (Finance or Legal background is a plus).
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, including team management responsibilities.
Proven experience in the financial industry (NPL, Performing Loans, REOs).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Advanced user of Excel, including macros (VBA).
Solid knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis and process automation.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
High attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
Experience in internal and external reporting.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
Fluency in Spanish and English.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
